Dr. Hassan H. Musa received his PhD in Molecular Genetics and two years Postdoctoral Research fellow in Molecular Immunology from Yangzhou University (China). He trained in Stem cell biology at the National Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (Iran), in Immunology and Genetics at the School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania (USA), and in Genomics at School of Life Science, University of Nottingham (UK). He acts as head department at Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Nyala, and Deputy Dean at Faculty of Medical Laboratory Sciences (FMLSs), University of Khartoum. He is a founder of the Institute of Molecular Biology at University of Nyala, and currently director of Biomedical Research Laboratory at FMLSs, University of Khartoum. He is leading a multidisciplinary research projects in Genetics, Genomics, Immunology, and Stem Cell, with special interest is in Cardio-metabolic Disease (Coronary artery disease stroke in case-control Sudanese population) and infectious diseases. He published over 110 papers in pre-review journals, 3 book chapters, and 12 abstract in the international Conferences. He has special interest in capacity building for Young Scientist.
